I like the way you hung the moon.
“This is how God showed his love among us: He sent his one and only Son into the world that we might live through him. This is love: not that we loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son as an atoning sacrifice for our sins. Dear friends, since God so loved us, we also ought to love one another.” 1 John 4:9-11
Happy Valentine’s Day, sweet friends!

I'm the Big Sister!
I introduced one of my sisters to the blog world a couple of posts ago. But the Lord blessed me x2 in the sister category so blog friends say hello to my youngest sister, Cicely.
Yes that is her given name, yes I know it’s rare/cool/______ [enter word here] and no I don’t know where my parents got it from. I guess I should ask one of these days.
The picture above is from 2006. I...
A little bit of a rough day yesterday. Actually more of a rough night really. I shouldn’t throw all of yesterday under the bus.
Luckily I have today off so that automatically makes it better than yesterday. But even so I’m going to work extra hard to make sure today is glorious!
Therefore, I’m channeling Queen Marie Antoinette and starting my morning with something sweet in...

Brother, Bring the Sun
With all this dreary and…uh…FREEZING weather I can’t help
but wish I was packing my bags,
stamping my passport,
and hopping a flight to warmer climates!
I’m dreaming of shopping, sand, and a whole lotta sun.
(not to mention a little Vitamin D for my ghostly pale skin)
I have a bad case of travel itch and the only cure is a little adventure.
I’ll take...
Technical Difficulties
Why-eeeeeee will my tumblr not upload pictures?
I was patient yesterday. Today…not so patient.
Anyone else having issues??
Two Crowns Upon Her Head
Now I have to admit, I didn’t actually watch the whole Miss America pageant this year. I got home from dinner with mom just in time to witness the crowning moment. Unfortunately that didn’t stop me from judging who I didn’t want to win after about 10 seconds though.
I’m so embarrassed to admit that the first words out of my mouth were “Please not the girl in the middle. She looks 12, I...
Ace of Spade.
I’ll never forget the first time I laid eyes on a Kate Spade bag.
I was in the 9th grade and a girl at my lunch table set the most ridiculously stunning handbag ever known to mankind (I would never exaggerate…) in the seat beside me.
So I asked Lunch Table Girl where she got it from.
“It’s Kate Spade.” she said matter-of-factly.
Hellooooo. Duhhhh.

Get in my closet.
I know everyone and their mom has already posted these outfits of perfection, but I am just as obsessed with the J. Crew Spring line as every other girl on the planet. So without further adeiu:
Once again Jenna Lyons has outdone herself.
And five becomes six.
Blog friends—I have beyond exciting news! The Brothel has a new addition. As of this past weekend Mary Catherine and I officially call the same place home sweet home. Needless to say I am THRILLED.
I’m about to cherish the heck out of the next 6 months with my precious roommates.
Here’s to 2011! It’s already off to a great start if I do say so myself.

My dad has 3 girls (no boys) and he has spent our entire lives calling boyfriends by the wrong name…on purpose.

So much for 'Retrieve Post'
Just wrote a long post about where in the world I’ve been lately and somehow managed to delete it. Bust. So, before steam comes out of my ears or I say a not nice word because no matter how hard I try I will probably always and forever be computer challenged, I am going bid adieu to the blog world.
In a nutshell it said, “Don’t worry, I’m still alive.” I know you...
