ramblings of a Southern sass

I realized the other day after I blogged about this precious little one that some of my lovely followers may not know who LB is.

(That was my discrete way of saying I’m popular and people I don’t know in real life read my blog…ok fine. I’m not really popular at all, but it makes for a good excuse to blog about my sweet friend!)

So without further adieu, Laura Beth.

Also known as Diego. That would be me, aka Boots, on the left. You know, from Dora the Explorer.

(Uh yeahhhhhh. Did I mention we both babysit A LOT?)

She loves me.

And I love her.

So much so that I dressed up like the 3 little pigs with her for a Halloween party.

(I won’t embarrass the 3rd little pig with pictures, but let’s just say their name starts with A and ends with ndrew…yep. He definitely took the cake for best boyfriend that Halloween.)

Oh and one time we wore prom dresses to a Miss America party. Just because we could.

She is another roommate of the infamous Brothel, but a whole lot more than just a fellow promiscuous girl [JOKE], of course.

We met freshman year of college and were instant friends.

Shank you, Phi Mu Fraternity. We had some rough days, [drama in the streets as the bf would say] but I will be forever grateful for giving me the greatest friends a girl could ever ask for! (I feel my new post coming on…)

Anyway,  back to LBeeezy. I’m talking people thought we had known each other for a lifetime when we had only known each other a few months.

Today, almost 5 years later, she’s still lucky enough to be my friend and roommate.

In life you have silver friends and gold friends.
